Summer Solstice Sunset Surf
AN EVENING TO REMEMBER
Watch the sun go down over the Atlantic whilst having the time of your life riding a surfboard down the crest of a wave with some like minded people.
The word solstice is derived from the Latin sol (“sun”) and sistere (“to stand still”), because at the solstices, the Sun’s declination appears to “stand still”
After the surf we’ll share a moment on the beach and enjoy “standing still” whilst letting that feeling of accomplishment wash over us after a great surf lesson.

The combination of small groups, highly experienced surf instructors, good vibes and the surrounds of the Wild Atlantic Way ensure a great experience -and they are always super fun days on the water!
We are proud to be the only company that offers the opportunity to learn to surf on the peninsula of Ballyconneely, which juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, nestled between Clifden and Roundstone – making this one of the most unique beaches to begin your surf journey.
