A Stag do is all about creating lasting memories and having loads of fun. Venture to the idyllic Connemara coast with your grooms men in tow and head off on an adventure for all the ages. Nowadays, so many people are turning their Stag do into a full weekend or mini break, complete with activities and plenty of things going on. A popular choice for Stag groups is coasteering (check out the video below from some inspiration), or do you fancy experiencing kayaking across some of Ireland’s best shores, are you determined to scale clifftops on our rock climbing sessions or hit the surf with Galway’s only surf school, our activities have you covered. We can also offer tips and advice on places to stay, eat and enjoy a night out in the area as well as mini bus options if you are staying in Galway city.

Coasteering:
If you’ve never embarked on a coasteering adventure then you’re missing out! Coasteering is a combination of scrambling, climbing, adventure swimming, and cliff jumping. No two coasteering session are the same, and that is the beauty of it! We use an amazing location which our expert guides know inside out to ensure that we provide you with an unforgettable and safe Coasteering session. Coasteering can be for everyone, we will tailor each session to suit the groups sense of adventure, fitness, and ability.
Kayak
Explore Ireland’s dramatic coastline by kayak with your Stag do. The coastal kayaking experience offers you stunning views of the surrounding Mannin Bay, with the backdrop of the Twelve Bens, pristine water, beautiful empty beaches and the sheer magic of paddling the bay. Our guide will quickly help you master the skills to paddle our user friendly kayaks before heading off on a journey to explore hidden Connemara all the while sharing the experience with your closest friends.
Surf
A list of things to do on your Stag do when visiting the coast wouldn’t be complete without hitting the waves. Connemara is the perfect setting to learn to surf, whether your standing up for the first time, experiencing that tube ride of a lifetime or just sharing some ocean time with friends nothing beats the good vibes, good stories and above all great memories of the surfing life. We are passionate about ensuring all surf enthusiasts get something out of the day –no matter what your level.
Climb
Rock climbing is one of the most exhilarating outdoor activities, and it is also one of the safest! The beauty of this sport is its combination of physical skill and mental focus, making it an exciting, interesting, and rewarding activity. Our expert guides have decades of climbing experience and qualifications will introduce you to the sport and guide you through your climb in a wild, and remote setting outside Roundstone.

Stag adventure FAQ
All equipment will be provided for you, all you need to bring are runners and suitable clothing for the outdoors and some swimming attire.
We are located only 5 minutes from the centre of Clifden which offers a wide variety of accommodation options.
The town of Clifden is nearby and offers a plethora of different dining options.
Our usual group size is approximately between 8-10 people.
All of our activities take place in the surrounding areas around our base just outside of Clifden in Co. Galway.
Via Car:
From Galway City follow signage for the N59 to Clifden
Via Public Transport:
There are a variety of bus services to Clifden which leave from Galway City Centre such as the 923 service from Citylink and the 419 service from Bus Eireann.
If you cancel 5 days before your activity we can offer you a full refund or reschedule your booking. If you cancel 2 – 5 days in advance we can offer you 50% refund or book you onto another activity as availability allows. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance we cannot guarantee that we can reschedule the activity for you and we will not refund your money. A no show, late arrival or request to reschedule within 48 hours is the same as cancelling less than 48 hours in advance and the same rules apply.
If you turn up to the activity and have a child under the age of 8 years old in your group, the instructor may turn you away and you will not be given a refund.
If we cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, we will offer you an alternative or full refund.
If you have to cancel due to Covid-19 we require evidence of this before we can offer you a refund.
